Designed by Ulla Procopé and Göran Bäck in the 1960s, the word ‘Kaarna’ translates to ‘bark’ in English and it’s clear to see how nature has influenced this design.
The teapot has a matt finish brown glaze with rings forming the effect of a tree’s bark and also imitates a hand thrown shape.
